Glen Van Arsdell MD is Professor and Chief of Congenital Cardiac Surgery at UCLA. His research focus is on optimizing personalized operations for tetralogy of Fallot. His clinical practice focuses on a range of complex neonatal surgery, complex adult congenital operations, and complex single ventricle transplantation including heart/liver transplantation. He and his team have implemented functional MRI and 3D imaging as a means of decision making and operative planning with an intent to limit the need for single ventricle palliation based on complexity alone.
