Aravind Krishnan, MD is a PGY2 Integrated Cardiothoracic Surgery Resident at Stanford University, and a 2020 graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is interested in heart and lung transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and aortic surgery, which has led him to the JW MacArthur Lab at Stanford, where he will spend his academic development years. He has extensive experience in clinical research, including large database studies, and basic/translational science, focusing on innovations in solid organ transplantation. He is humbled to share some of the Stanford Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery's scientific work at this robust forum for science and camaraderie wtihin Cardiothoracic Surgery.
