Dr. Ouzounian is a Cardiac and Aortic Surgeon and Surgeon Scientist at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, and Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Toronto. She is the Surgical Director of the Thoracic Aortic Program and the Transcatheter Valve Program as well as the Fellowship Director for the Division of Cardiac Surgery at the Toronto General Hospital. Dr. Ouzounian was recently named the Antonio & Helga De Gasperis Chair in Clinical Trials and Outcomes Research at UHN. Her clinical and academic interests are in the understanding and management of aortic disease, including heritable aortopathies and complex aortic aneurysms and dissections.
